On 13 July, the Permanent Representative of Lithuania to the International Organizations in Vienna, Ambassador Kęstutis Kudzmanas, presented his letter of credence to the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV) and Executive Director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), Monica Juma.
During the meeting, Ambassador K. Kudzmanas expressed Lithuania's strong support for UNODC activities to fight organised crime and counter global drug threats, including synthetic drugs. He also stressed Lithuania's readiness to cooperate closely with the UNODC as it assumes the Presidency of the Council of the European Union on 1 January 2027.
