Lithuania’s Foreign Minister Landsbergis meets with NATO’s Supreme Allied Commander in Europe
Today, in Brussels, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Gabrielius Landsbergis met with General Christopher G. Cavoli, NATO’s Supreme Allied Commander in Europe.
“The will to defend itself is Ukraine’s biggest driving force that inspires the entire Euro-Atlantic space. However, Ukraine’s victory requires weapons, political support and progress on the path of the country’s Euro-Atlantic integration,” the head of Lithuania’s diplomacy said at the meeting.
Landsbergis and General Cavoli discussed NATO’s role in ensuring transatlantic security and implementing priority reforms on Ukraine’s path to future alliance membership.
